Born, raised and educated in Montreal, Joan’s natural talents, including French as a second language, and excellent taste, first lead her to a winning career in interior design where she created innovative interiors and exteriors for a host of happy clients.  
 
The Real Estate Business had always intrigued this enterprising professional, and as a long term resident of the celebrated City of Westmount in Montreal, she made the decision to put her passion to work.  When the first opportunity beckoned, Joan answered and the result was a fulfilling merge of knowledge, intellect and passion for the industry.  The move was a natural one encompassing all of Joan’s talents and friendly, outgoing nature.  
 
When Joan first visited Vancouver in 1986 our vibrant city left a lasting impression.  Being a firm believer in Karma and knowing that the timing was right, Joan made the decision in 1994 to hand over the reins of her existing business in Montreal to a close friend and associate and headed west.    
 
Joan’s career also encompasses the successful sales management of a branch of The Permanent, the Real Estate division of Canada Trust.  As an accomplished businesswoman Joan possesses the confidence and professional expertise that comes with selling Real Estate for 27 award winning years and was inducted into the prestigious Re/Max Hall of Fame in 1992.   As a kind and caring individual and single mother of 2 successful daughters, she also possesses the ability to see beyond the business of the day and devote quality time to the love of her family.
